Desmond is still important in Assassin’s Creed 3 [Video]

With all the talk of Native Americans and stabbing redcoats and tossing tea into the ocean, it’s been easy to forget that Assassin’s Creed 3 will also feature a fair bit of Desmond. This latest trailer is here to remind you that he’s actually rather important to that whole ‘Assassin’s Creed plot’ thing.

JoinStar Trek’s Q, as he explains why Desmond will have to be the one to save us all from a terrifying date in the calendar.

This video looks like it’ll serve as a quick intro to the game (and its ever more complex story) for anyone who hasn’t played the preceding Assassin’s Creed titles. As such, it contains a few general spoilers for previous games.

Assassin’s Creed 3 is coming out at the end of this month for Xbox 360 and PS3. It’s mid-November for the PC version.
