Borderlands 2 Mechromancer DLC coming out early… coming out today!

Gearbox has surprised us all by announcing that the Mechromancer DLC for Borderlands 2 is coming out early. In fact, it’s coming out today. It had originally been pencilled in for 16 October.

If you’re playing on PC or Xbox 360 you can download the Mechromancer character class this afternoon, PS3 users will have to wait until the weekly PSN update tomorrow.

The Mechromancer can be downloaded for free if you pre-ordered the game, otherwise it will set you back 800 MS Point or 360 and £7.99 on PC/PS3.
