TRION’s RIFT pokes fun at Mists of Pandaria with charity appeal

Everybody knows that the World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria,  Panda Pack or Kung-Fu Panda expansion (whatever you want to call it) caused a bit of a stir when it was announced, mainly because some players thought it was taking the WoW franchise a little too far into the realms of looking a bit silly, even if the game has been a bit cotton candy for years now.

So when World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria launched yesterday, and not wanting to miss out on any publicity the new WoW expansion may be receiving, TRION announced a new charity appeal to save the Panda.  Anyone who pre-orders the RIFT: Storm Legion expansion between 26 September and 3rd October, TRION will donate $1 to Panda International  for every copy sold. A noble cause indeed.
