The Secret World’s third ‘issue’ update looks meow-vellous
Prepare to pet the Cat God as Funcom reveals The Secret World’s third major update. ‘Issue 3′ extends into October, with some of the events not taking place until closer to Halloween. However, there are also a couple of new missions available in the MMO right now.
‘The Binding’ will take you to the Sun God’s city in Ancient Egypt to learn more about the Seven Sentinels, which Funcom claims will tax your higher puzzle-solving functions to their limits. Elsewhere, ‘Dogs of War’ gives werewolf Traian a new action mission that trades on the ol’ standby of conflict between werewolves and vampires.
But back to the Cat God. He’ll be showing up in October, and Funcom says “In addition to fresh content, such as new locations and monsters, our Halloween event also brings with it tricks, treats, cool new costumes and special pets.” The event itself will begin at some point in October and run through the first week of November.
