Heroes & Generals among first ten ‘Greenlit’ Steam titles

has revealed its first ten successful entrants, which include Reto-Moto’s FPS-strategy hybrid and the project (a full Half-Life remake in the Source engine). All of the selected games will now be “released independently [on Steam] in the months ahead”. Precise release dates are hard to predict, because the titles are in various stages of completion.

The full list of games selected in this first salvo is as follows: Black Mesa, Cry of Fear, Dream, Heroes & Generals, Kenshi, McPixel, No More Room in Hell, Project Zomboid, Routine, and Towns.

“The Steam community rallied around these titles and made them the clear choice for the first set of titles to launch out of Greenlight,” says ’s Anna Sweet.

Hundreds of titles have been submitted to Steam’s ‘Greenlight’ area to date, and Valve plans to announce more games that’ll be making the transition to the Steam store “soon”.
