The first expansion for Ghost Recon Online has been released, featuring a new Conquest mode map, six new weapon variants and various items.

Tomsk-9 is the name of the new map, and is set in a nuclear complex in the snowy depths of Russia’s Arctic Circle. The map is partially indoor, partially outdoor and is of a symmetrical design. Word is that the Ghost Recon Online community “has played a major role in shaping the development of this update”, which also include 300 balance tweaks and various bug fixes.

Items can be purchased either with real cash or, if you’ve saved up enough, in-game currency.

We’ve recently published an interview Ghost Recon Online’s creative director, which you can read here.
