The Showdown Effect brings a minigun to medieval Europe [Video]
Arrowhead’s post-Magicka project The Showdown Effect is looking about as irreverent as their myths and magic mocking effort. The “2.5D” multiplayer brawler (in the sense of something like Super Smash Bros, not Streets of Rage) is promising all kinds of weird and wonderful combinations, as 80s and 90s style action heroes do battle across time.
In this latest footage, a few of these would-be champions attempt to tear up medieval Europe (and one another) with a minigun and other assorted weaponry.
The Showdown Effect is due on the PC in early 2013.
