Potential Games LLC is excited to announce a Kickstarter project for Island Forge, a player-created content, brand-new old-school, single-developer MMORPG featuring classic RPG elements with a unique new game design, in which players create their own islands with stories for others to explore.

Island Forge is all about player creativity, community participation, and player-created content. Place hundreds of scenery and terrain tiles, lay out your town, and create actors with interactive dialogue (including multiple choice responses, quest goals, and branching logic). When your island is ready, publish it to the world for everyone to explore! Players can go solo or form party expeditions to explore, fight creatures, and earn resources. In town, you can meet with others, craft items, and level up with a unique health-based experience system.

Island Forge appeals to creative players who enjoy participating in an engaging community. You can find Island Forge on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Island Forge v1.0 was released in July 2012 and is available for Linux, Mac, and Windows (it’s written entirely from scratch in the Java Programming Language by a single developer).
