Assassin’s Creed 3 shows off the power of its new engine [Video]
We haven’t had too much to get excited about since our extensive preview of Assassin’s Creed 3 a few months ago, but Ubisoft is looking to change that with the release of a new trailer.
The video, below, focuses on what the AnvilNext engine is capable of, showing plenty of close-ups, slow-mo and fancy particle effects.
Assassin’s Creed 3 has a release date of 30 October in North America, 31 October in Europe. It’s due out on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.

meh. looks kinda cool
Did the main char run faster than a dear when he was showing running through the trees?
For a technical showcase, there were a lot of low-res textures and flickering shadows.
