Nintendo E3 2012 Press Conference round-up
Arguably, it was Nintendo’s E3 2012 press conference that was most anticipated, given that they were the only platform holder showing off unreleased new hardware.
The company kicked off with Shigeru Miyamoto announcing Pikmin 3 for the Wii U and rounded things off with the upcoming console’s Nintendo Land feature.
In between they spent a little bit of time looking at future Nintendo 3DS titles, more time on New Super Mario Bros. U for the Wii U and an enormous amount of time on third-party Wii U titles – largely from Ubisoft and Warner Bros. Mass Effect 3, ZombiU, Batman: Arkham City: Armored Edition, Tekken Tag Tournament 2 and Aliens Colonial Marines, among others, were all confirmed for the system.
