Nike+ Kinect Training jumping onto 360

Kinect is the FUTURE OF FITNESS, according to Nike’s Stefan Olander, who took to the stage at Microsoft’s E3 conference to discuss Nike+ Kinect Training.

The announcement was full of wonderful quotes like “If you have a body, you’re an athlete.” Apparently, you can’t improve what you can’t measure, so it’s a good thing that – after talking about shoes for a bit – Olander revealed the game, which looks like it’ll measure your workouts and show you what to do.

The idea seems to be to combine the athletic and gaming communities, bringing them together with the ability to see how good your workouts are compared to those of others. You can even check this stuff out on your phone, it seems.

Nike+ Kinect Training is due out at Christmas, so it’ll be in stores for the annual January guilt over eating far too much.
