New Super Mario Bros 2 dated for 3DS

Announced today at Nintendo’s E3 2012 press conference, New Super Mario Bros. 2 will release on Nintendo 3DS on 19 August.

Coins are the order of the day, with a focus on money collecting and that, in turn, leads to high scores.

Most interestly, the game will be available at both retail and digital download on launch day.

In related news, New Super Mario Bros. U has been revealed as a Wii U title.
