Meet Van Helsing’s weird monsters

Neocore has released the first set of proper screenshots from its forthcoming action-RPG The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing and, yes, these images do indeed confirm that the game looks like an action-RPG. It’s a tough area to break into, with Diablo 3 already out and strong contenders like Torchlight 2 on the way in the coming months, but perhaps Neocore can inject some unique personality into the genre.

Going by these images, the developer has already injected some weird monsters with suitably bizarre names. Have a look below for shots of the ‘Batrachiantaur’ and the ‘Electriferous Behemoth’, amongst others.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing is due towards the end of this year, for PC and Xbox 360.
