Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 – E3 2012 Cinematic Trailer [Video]

Konami has released a cinematic trailer for the just-announced sequel to Castlevania: Lords of Shadow, currently in development by MercurySteam.

Being that Lords of Shadow 2 is a direct sequel, its trailer will almost certainly spoil the first game’s ending for you, so bear that in mind. There’s no dialogue and little in the way of plot hints, but lots of speculation is possible – could that white-haired pretty boy at the end of the video be Alucard? From what little information has been released, we can comfortably say that Lords of Shadow 2 is set to conclude the Lords of Shadow saga, and it sounds like it might actually be primarily set in Dracula’s castle. The trailer’s a rather impressive visual feast, and you can see it below. Lords of Shadow 2 is currently in the works for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and is due in 2013.
