26 Apr 2012 by Paul Younger
The Silent Hunter submarine sim series continues at UbiSoft with the announcement of Silent Hunter Online, a the browser based take on the popular series. Interested gamers can now sign-up and apply for the closed Beta where they will be treated to Flash Player 11 3D graphics in their browsers. The game is in development at UbiSoft Blue Byte, the guys behind the popular Settlers series and Anno strategy titles. One cool feature of this new version of Silent Hunter, is that players will be able to play every mission campaign in co-op mode based on the "Battle of the Atlantic". “This is the most innovative Silent Hunter experience ever created and we can’t wait to let our fans dive into the game,” said Christopher Schmitz, Head of Production at Ubisoft Blue Byte.    There's no release date as yet but watch this space.
