Max Payne 3 will be showing up slightly later than the console versions (29 May in the US and 1 June in Europe), but you can be absolutely sure it’ll give you more anti-aliasing options. Rockstar has also confirmed that the game will make use of DirectX 11 (if your card can handle it) and hints at some other “advanced graphics options” that PC users will have access to.
Can your PC run the title though? That’s the question which should be answered by the min-to-max system specs outlined below.
Operating System: Windows 7 32/64 Service Pack 1, Windows Vista 32/64 Service Pack 2, Windows XP 32/64 Service Pack 3

Processor: Intel Dual Core 2.4 GHZ – i7 3930K 6 Core x 3.06 GHZ / AMD Dual Core 2.6 GHZ – FX8150 8 Core x 3.6 GHZ

RAM: 2GB – 16GB

Video Card: NVIDIA® 8600 GT 512MB VRAM – NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 680 2GB VRAM / Radeon HD 3400 512MB VRAM – Radeon HD 7970 3GB VRAM

Sound Card: 100% Direct X 9.0 compatible – Direct X 9.0 compatible supporting Dolby Digital Live

HDD Space: 35 GB (that seems … a lot, but that’s what it says!)

DVD Drive (Although presumably not if you get a digital version)
Speaking of digital versions, your favourite digital retailer of choice is probably offering some sort of Max Payne 3 pre-order bonus trinkets (along the lines of a ‘classic multiplayer character pack’). Head over to your distributor of choice to see what’s on offer.
Meanwhile, enjoy the PC-specific screenshots below. They’re followed by the recent bullet-time trailer, in case you missed that one.
