The Carbine Studios team are back with another Wildstar update and today they show off some of the minibosses from the Northern Wilds zone of their MMORPG.

Naval War: Arctic Circle (NW:AC) is reminiscent of the old childhood concept of standing with your eyes closed and saying “If I can’t see you, you can’t see me.” In this near-future oceanic strategy title, the most fundamental tactical decisions are based on whether to actively search for the enemy (and, in the process, perhaps reveal yourself) or to simply stay quiet with your metaphorical eyes closed.
Elite-inspired space trading sim is Notch’s next game
Minecraft creator Markus ‘Notch’ Persson’s next game will be a “sandbox space trading sim” in the Elite (1984) mould.
However, Notch has teased that, unlike Elite, players will be able to explore various interior areas of their trading ship.
“I want the space game that’s more like Firefly,” said Notch.

Microsoft’s free-to-play Age of Empires Online is now on Steam.
While the base game is free, there are no less than 11 add-on packs each costing £3.25 each.
