Crusader Kings II takes on pirates [Video]

The only downside to Crusader Kings II being released earlier this week is that it means no more ‘Seven Deadly Sins’ trailers. These intentionally awkward am-dram pastiches have been a welcome relief from the usual deluge of CG-filled trailers, and neatly avoided the inherent problem of marketing a game where you spend a lot of time just looking at a map of Europe.
Sit back then, for the final trailer in the series. In it, the king must deal with the threat posed by the dastardly Swiss pirate ‘Downlow Ding’. I … I feel like they’re trying to tell us something, but I’m not sure what.
Crusader Kings II is out now for the PC. I’ve spent a few happy days trying to murder my extended family in the name of feudal superiority, so expect a full review early next week.
