Bat-launch is go with Gotham City Imposters [Video]

8 Feb 2012 by John Robertson
Monolith's somewhat demented team-based shooter Gotham City Imposters should be available everywhere today, and the team has released a launch trailer to celebrate. 'Launch' is actually the operative word here, as it shows Batmen and Jokerz flinging themselves into the air with grappling hooks and makeshift wings. Having played quite a bit of the Xbox Live beta, I can say that Gotham City Imposters is pretty good fun (and will be even better fun if the full version has fixed the dodgy matchmaking system). Being able to attack from the skies adds a decent new dimension to the ol' team shooter set up, and the crazed Batman theme is always welcome. Only having one female body type (out of five) was a bit of a drag though. The game is available now for PC (through Steam), Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. [video2=2707]
