Blood beach: Dead Island’s release trailer

31 Aug 2011 by Peter Parrish
This is a touch premature, as the game doesn't come out until 6 September in the US (and 9 September elsewhere), but Techland has issued a 'release' trailer for Dead Island. It shows a beautiful paradise resort in which humans and zombies co-exist in sunbathing harmony, play beach football together and generally have a jolly good time. Oh, wait, no that's just something I made up. It actually shows a desperate fight for survival against slavering zombie hordes. Excellently, there are a fair few Australian accents on show, making this trailer seem like the greatest episode of Home & Away ever written. "Alf mate, zombies are invading the surf club!" You can read John's Hands-On experiences with the game, here. [video2=2435]
