Battlefield 3, new trailer, screens & co-op details

16 Aug 2011 by John Robertson
As you might expect, there's a fair old amount of Battlefield 3 stuff coming out of Gamescom. Most newsworthy of all is the confirmation by DICE that the game's single player campaign will also be playable with a friend in co-op fashion. If such co-operation doesn't take your fancy, though, there's always the (up to 64 player on PC) multiplayer mode, which is demonstrated in the latest trailer. The map being played is 'Caspian Border', which apparently features a few jets for all you Top Gun fanatics. If still images are more your style, EA has also released a few fresh screenshots, which can be found after the trailer. Battlefield 3 is due for release in late October for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
