Jurassic Park: The Game delayed

27 Apr 2011 by Paul Younger
Originally due later this week, now not arriving until Autumn. It's frustrating when games are delayed. It's doubly frustrating when they're delayed only a few days prior to launch (in the US at least). It's triply frustrating when the games in question is being developed by as reliable a developer as Telltale.  But, that's what has happened. The PC edition will now come out this Autumn, facilitating a simultaneous release across all platforms. My way of compensation, Telltale are offering those who have pre-ordered the game a free Telltale game of their choosing. The abridged version of a statement from Telltale CEO Dan Connors reads: "Our goal was to release the first episode of Jurassic Park: The Game this month, and currently we are very excited about how the game's creation is progressing," said Connors. "The game's mechanics and storytelling have come together in such a way that we see great potential, so much so that we feel we can push these elements to the next level if we spend some extra time working on them. "We regret any disappointment on the part of our fans but we are confident you'll be pleased with our decision when the game comes out."
