Dragonica Expansion – Awakening of the Ice Dragon Announced

A new expansion has been announced for the free to play Action MMO Dragonica. Awakening of the Ice Dragon will include a new continent, Pagosia, which will introduce new maps and landscapes including four new mission maps, one of which will see you in a show-down with the Ice Dragon. A new game type, s’trategic defence mode’ will challenge players to fight alone or in groups against waves of invading enemies. This mode will be available in the majority of Dragonica’s mission maps, with the number and level of the monsters depending on the amount and character level of the players present in each instance.

New features for the in-game markets and auctions as well as guild and party search and an increase in level cap will help keep high level players battling away.

The update will be available in early 2011, immediately after the in-game festive period celebrations.
