Battle Vs Chess Trailer

9 Sep 2010 by Paul Younger
We all know chess is a pretty hardcore game. Who can forget the time Garry Kasparov leapt across the table, screaming bloody vengeance and plunged a dagger deep into the heart of Vladimir Kramnik during a match in 2001? No-one. Because it didn't happen. However, had Kasparov been facing off against genuine forces of darkness he may have been forced to act in such a way. As we reported in August, Battle Vs Chess looks to be reclaiming the ground left by Battle Chess in the 1980s, using animated 3D armies of good and evil to represent the traditional chess pieces. Look below for a trailer that tries to make chess look like the most extreme game ever invented. And almost succeeds.
