Funcom “Cautious” About The Secret World On Console

While talking to IncGamers, Ragnar Tørnquist, the game director for Funcom’s upcoming MMO The Secret World, revealed that the console version of the game is on hold while the company concentrates on the PC game. Funcom billed the game as a PC and Xbox 360 title when it was announced, but there’s been no news on the console version since then.

New FEAR 3 Screenshots, Concept Art Show Death, Destruction

A batch of new screenshots and concept art for FEAR 3 have crawled out of the dark.You can get your first in-game peek at the dark and disturbing world of FEAR 3 after you click through, and there’s also art of Alma, the Point Man, Paxton Fettel and a few enemies.

Star Wars: The Old Republic Companions Page Released

BioWare has put up a companions overview page for Star Wars: The Old Republic, revealing some of the creatures and beings we’ll get to chose from as our side-kicks in the upcoming MMO. The only companion on the page right now is Vette, who is now listed as a known associate to Sith Warriors. A detailed background to the character is given on Vette’s biography page, listing her home world of Nar Shaddaa, her known family (likely to be involved in quests) and, probably incorrectly, listed under known associates is a list of abilities; Taunt, Flash and Plasmajack. No doubt we’ll see more of these as the weeks go on, so keep an eye on our MMO section for all the latest SWTOR news.

Blizzard Open Shop In Singapore

New Total War Game Outed As Shogun 2: Total War?

Creative Assembly’s next Total War game may have been outed as Shogun 2.We previously reported that a new Total War game which “eschews the gunpowder weaponry of recent Total War titles and gets back to basics” might be shown at E3, and now there’s some evidence to suggest it’s a Shogun sequel.According to Kotaku, Turkish site Oyungezer posted up that it has a 2:30pm E3 appointment to talk about Shogun 2: Total War – which has yet to be announced.Shogun: Total War was the very first Total War game, set in the Sengoku period of Japanese history.

Aion Anti-RMT Video #3 Released

NCsoft has released the third video in the “The More You MMO” series, aimed at dissuading players from using RMT services such as powerlevelling, buying gold/kinah or buying/selling accounts. This tongue-in-cheek video follows a group of players who find themselves looking after a friend who bought a character instead of learning how to play it himself.
