Evony Libel Case Against Brit Blogger Dropped
The lawsuit against British gaming blogger Bruce Everiss by American games company Evony has been dropped, it was revealed today.
Simbin Announces New GTR Game
SimBin has announced that it has begun work on a new GTR game.The game will reportedly go back to the roots of the SimBin racing games, while “offering a brand new take on the basic concept of ‘easy to drive, hard to master.’”The game is also set to feature a step up in realism, visuals, and immersion, and will feature new online features and activities in addition to “a very comprehensive DLC plan.”The game, as yet unnamed, is scheduled for launch in 2011.

Capcom has announced that it has appointed David Reeves as the Chief Operating Officer of Capcom Entertainment Europe.Reeves was formerly the president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, having worked with the company for 14 years during which time he set up operations in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and oversaw the launch of the PlayStation across Europe.“I established a close working relationship with Capcom during my time at Sony and have always admired its commitment to push boundaries and develop innovative titles,” gushed Reeves.

Darksiders is getting a PC release in June.RockPaperShotgun has word that the enjoyable biblical macho hack-and-slasher will be getting a PC release sometime around June, with Vigil Games’ David Adams noting that it’s going to contain all the bells and whistles PC users expect.“We are really excited to have the opportunity to bring Darksiders to the global PC audience,” said Adams.
