Dragon Age: Origins Expansion Pre-Orders Open On Steam

Dragon Age: Origins – Awakening is now available for pre-order on Steam.The Steam blurb mentions that the expansion requires the Steam edition of Dragon Age: Origins, so this pre-order is unavailable to those who have a shop-bought copy of the game.Awakening, the first full expansion to Dragon Age: Origins, takes place after the close of the original game.

Mass Effect 2 Has Two Disc Swaps

BioWare has revealed that Mass Effect 2 players will have to swap discs twice.BioWare’s Chris Priestly has previously stated that Mass Effect 2, which will hit Xbox 360 on two discs, would require players to swap between the discs once.

Left 4 Dead 2 Adding Versus Mode Bots, Removing Auto-Spawn

Valve has revealed via the Left 4 Dead Blog that Infected bots will soon be added to Versus, while auto-spawn is being  removed.Valve’s “L4D Team” posted on the official Left 4 Dead blog that they “are working on some other updates coming for PC and 360.””We are adding bots for the Infected team to help out the Infected when they are down a man or two,” wrote the team.

Battle of the Immortals Website Live

Perfect World recently announced their new MMORPG called Battle of the Immortals which is currently in closed  Beta testing.Today a new website for the game has gone live and now provides some basic background information on the game which is being touted as a 2.5D MMORPG hardcore PvP title.

Interplay has issued a press release officially announcing they have teamed with Masthead to create a new MMORPG, also known as Project V13.Project v13 has been known about for some time and it is thought to a Fallout MMORPG.

Bioshock 2 DRM Scaled Back

Following the announcement which highlighted the game’s DRM and system requirements, 2K are to scale back the game’s DRM.There has been much debate about the lengths 2K were taking with the game’s DRM and today 2K have listened to the feedback and issued a statement which confirms changes being made with SecuROM which is good news for gamers.
