Fort Zombie Breaking Free On Halloween
Kerberos Studios has announced that Fort Zombie will be breaking loose for Halloween.The title, billed as a “lite action/RPG” title, asks players to scour a deserted town, find survivors, secure weapons, food, and fuel, and build up your defenses in one of the town’s buildings in preparation for the final zombie assault.Sounds alright, but we’ll see how well it does when it launches on 30 October – this Friday – at the RRP of $9.99 USD/€9.99 EUR, on all major digital distribution networks.You can check out the latest trailer below and see whether you think it’s worth your ten units of currency.

Infinity Ward community manager Robert Bowling has confirmed that Modern Warfare 2 will contain a third-person mode.Yesterday, there were a few rumours floating around that Modern Warfare 2 would have a third-person mode, and now Robert Bowling – better known online as fourzerotwo – has confirmed it.”It’s not something you can toggle on and off in ANY game,” Bowling told Joystiq.

World of Warcraft players in China may finally get to play Wrath of the Lich King soon, around one year after players in the west got their hands on the expansion.An unnamed source from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China told uuu9.com that Wrath of the Lich King may be available by the middle of November.

In response to the news that The9 shareholders are to sue the company for allegedly misleading them, The9′s CEO has said he believes the claims lack legal basis.As we reported last week, shareholders in The9, former operator of World of Warcraft in China, are suing the company after they were apparently not informed of the impending loss of the WoW contract.

The setting for an unannounced Elder Scrolls game may have inadvertantly been revealed in a book description.A blurb on the Waterstone’s website for Greg Keyes’ forthcoming Elder Scrolls novel “The Infernal City” apparently contains text mentioning a fifth Elder Scrolls game.

Activision has revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will ship with Valve’s Steamworks features.
Dark Elves Coming Free To Blood Bowl
Dark Elves will be added to Blood Bowl, free of charge, in November.Blood Bowl initially shipped with eight playable races, but – as was promised when the game launched – additional races will soon be added to the violent sports strategy title.The first addition will be the Dark Elves, the “evil cousins of the Wood Elves,” who will get their own model designs and animations in addition to new cheerleaders and their own Star Player.Dark Elves have all of the Elven agility, but combine it with some serious damage.
