WoW Expansion To Launch In China Next Month?
World of Warcraft players in China may finally get to play Wrath of the Lich King soon, around one year after players in the west got their hands on the expansion.An unnamed source from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China told uuu9.com that Wrath of the Lich King may be available by the middle of November.
The9: Shareholder Claims Groudless
In response to the news that The9 shareholders are to sue the company for allegedly misleading them, The9’s CEO has said he believes the claims lack legal basis.As we reported last week, shareholders in The9, former operator of World of Warcraft in China, are suing the company after they were apparently not informed of the impending loss of the WoW contract.

Elder Scrolls V Accidentally Revealed?
The setting for an unannounced Elder Scrolls game may have inadvertantly been revealed in a book description.A blurb on the Waterstone’s website for Greg Keyes’ forthcoming Elder Scrolls novel “The Infernal City” apparently contains text mentioning a fifth Elder Scrolls game.
Activision Chooses Steamworks For Modern Warfare 2
Activision has revealed Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will ship with Valve’s Steamworks features.
Dark Elves Coming Free To Blood Bowl
Dark Elves will be added to Blood Bowl, free of charge, in November.Blood Bowl initially shipped with eight playable races, but – as was promised when the game launched – additional races will soon be added to the violent sports strategy title.The first addition will be the Dark Elves, the “evil cousins of the Wood Elves,” who will get their own model designs and animations in addition to new cheerleaders and their own Star Player.Dark Elves have all of the Elven agility, but combine it with some serious damage.

Riot Games has released several new images if its upcoming DotA based game, League of Legends.LoL is currently in open beta, so gamers can get playing now and keep their accounts when the game officially launches on 30 October.
AoC Long-Term Subscription Costs Reduced
Funcom has announced that it has reduced the cost of Age of Conan’s multi-month subscription packages, doubling the previous discount offer.Players who sign up for three months will now receive a 20% discount, a six month sub gives players a 30% discount, and if you sign up for a year, you save a whopping 45% on the cost of the regular monthly fees.Funcom is also making it possible for players to benefit from the new Veteran System as soon as gametime has been added to an account, as Veteran Points will be awarded immediately.
