Aion Preview: Part Two
The second part of our Aion preview is up, and this week’s article covers gameplay, questing and combat.
The stunning graphics that upcoming MMO, Aion, boasts has been one of the many things that have contributed to the hype surrounding the title. But is that all there is to the game? Is it another WoW clone, will it suffer the same fate of Tabula Rasa, or will it plod along like Age of Conan with a small but dedicated fan base? Or, as some fans claim, will it be the next big thing?
In the aim of giving readers an insight into the game, I’ve taken the plunge with Aion and will be playing the game during its brief closed beta stages. Each week, I’ll write up my experiences as I progress. Last week I focussed on the character creation process, which deserves an article all of its own, given the depth of the customisation available. In today’s article I take a look at the game’s quests, combat and graphics.
