Change Your Faction in WoW Incoming

29 Jun 2009 by Paul Younger
Blizzard is to launch a new service that will enable World of Warcraft players to switch sides from Alliance to Horde. If there was one service we didn't think Blizzard would implement, it was the ability to change your faction. This evening the company has released the first details of the new faction switching service which "will allow players to change their faction from Alliance to Horde or Horde to Alliance" on the same realm. With the two factions being different in many ways, Blizzard will switch a players character from one side to the other and the new character will be "roughly the equivalent character of the opposing faction" on the same realm. This is a big move for Blizzard, and although it's still to iron out how exactly it will work, this latest update is purely to keep players in the loop with the game's upcoming features. More information will be released closer to the system's deployment once it has gone through heavy internal testing.More over on WoW IncGamers.
