Aspyr Media and Mindsgare Studios have announced a new FPS for the PC and 360 called Dreamkiller.Dreamkiller is being touted as a “fast, frantic and mega-bloodbath first-person shooter” that will “take gamers inside the dark and twisted nightmares of tortured souls possessed by unknown forces”.Gamers will take on the role of Alice Drake, a psychologist who has the ability to enter the minds of her patients and battle their inner-most demons haunting their dreams.

A post on the official Mass Effect forums has explained both the likelihood of how Insanity difficulty will be handled in the sequel, but also the reasons behind it being locked in the original game.Christina Norman, lead system designer, posted on the forums to respond to a question regarding difficulty levels being “arbitrarily” locked, as the first game required you to run through it several times to unlock the highest difficulty.

We may see a Lost Planet 2 demo before too long.Jun Takeuchi, the producer of the alien-blasting third-person shooter, told Famitsu “I think we might be able to offer [the demo] in a little bit,” according to Kotaku.
