Lighthouse Interactive Announces Bankruptcy

26 Mar 2009 by Paul Younger
Dutch/Canadian video publisher, Lighthouse Interactive, has been officially declared bankrupt.

The bankruptcy is due to parent company, Silverbirch Incorporated going into liquidation, and the bankruptcy of Silverbirch's largest debtor, Pinnacle Entertainment.

Some of Lighthouse Entertainment's most noteable titles were Ship Simulator, Sword of the Stars and Overclocked.

Last year we spoke Steve Wall, vice president of business development at Lighthouse Interactive about the advantages and disadvantages of being a small publisher in a competitive market.
